Ok, So I Lied

I did decide to do a NY resolution after all, but it is VERY simple. I want to take more videos. I take a lot of photos already, but I love hearing the voices of my family and watching Oliver at different stages. Going to try to shoot a couple of minutes talking to Oliver at least twice a month.


I am wrapping up my first complete Project Life album this week. I still have a few things to add, but I am mostly done and it feels amazing. I can look at each week and truly remember the week and our stories. I didn't end up documenting it here very long as I felt I was probably boring most of the readers since I never got any comments. However, I kept chugging along here at home and I love it just as much as I did when I first started.

Anyway, I hadn't done a title or end page since I wasn't sure what to put there. I decided to add a photo of each member of our family, a photo of us all together, and a photo of just me and the hubs for the title page. I also listed the ages we were at the start of the album, Jan. 2011. I included the year for the album and our last name.


For the final page, I considered doing all shots of Oliver's naked rear end saying "the end." Instead, I decided to do shots of us waving or walking away. A couple of these also have my parents which is very appropriate since they are present in every week of our lives. Used sticker letters to say goodbye to 2011 and added a sticker that had a quote I liked.

I also took all of our photo xmas cards and made a ring binder for them. I considered making a cute cover for it, but I decided I'm really ok with not going to that trouble. Many of the cards are dated so I'll have no trouble figuring out what year the cards were from. I also included one of our Christmas cards. I organized the cards smallest to largest and then hole punched. Easy peasy.
